Parth is a little boy living in the confines of a modern nuclear family. His father Siddhant and his mother Nileema are moving up in society and in their career, but they have no time for Parth. 
When Parth sees children playing around with their grandfathers, he insists on meeting his own grandfather. The parents are caught in a fix, as the father has no parents and the mother isn’t on talking terms with her father...and Parth is adamant that he has to meet his grandpa.
At the same time Siddhant comes up with a brilliant plan. He decides to hire an actor, Dattu to come home and play the part of Parth’s grandfather for a couple of days.
Now Dattu is a struggling actor who knows the ways of the world. He agrees to play the role. Dattu – simple, likeable, but not at all gullible. He is a bit uncouth, but not lacking in warmth. He may charge a heavy price for his services but he is certainly aware of human values.
Dattu enters Parth’s world and changes everything around. He showers Parth with all the love he has missed throughout his life. In his own rustic ways he tries to straighten the distorted, narrow views of Siddhant amd Nileema.
Due to his candid expression Dattu aggravates Nileema...After the argument that follows, Dattu vanishes with Parth.
What is Dattu’s true motive in such a brash act? Do the parents finally find Parth? What is it that Parth gains? Is Dattu able to fine-tune the visions of this couple blinded by monetary ambition?
